Richard Dawkins is launching his most extensive book tour yet, spanning the USA, UK, and EU to promote his latest work, 'The Genetic Book of the Dead.' You can get a sweet discount on your tickets during the presale, but act quickly—presale tickets are only available until tomorrow!
I've lost track of which recent episode had the suggestion that Richard Dawkins' lifetime collection of books, speeches, essays, podcasts should be used to train a Richard-Dawkins.ai with a ChatGPT or other interactive chat interface. That would allow for readers to query the AI on topics to hopefully get coherent responses that are based upon Richard's thinking and writing.
I think this is a very good suggestion and hope the project is undertaken by a university or Richard himself. I myself have read many of the books he has written but by no means think I can remember all that I have read over the past 10, 20, 40 years.
I received email for the event. I live in Milwaukee and the response process led me to a button for that venue on September 20. I clicked it and ended up on a seat selection page. I selected two seats and paid. Only after getting Ticketmaster ticket email did I realize that the theater was in Chicago!
I went through this process several times to verify the problem. It is in the urls upstream of Ticketmaster.
I now have two tickets to an event in the wrong city and no way to purchase tickets for the theater a couple of miles from my house!
